Ever since he was a kid, Joseph C. Ma always dreamed of finding new ways to play his part in strengthening our communities, solving major problems, and leaving the world better than he found it. He joined the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) the day after he graduated high school and shortly after came up with the idea to start a charity. Finally, he decided to realize his goal, and in June of 2019, he founded the United States Progress Foundation with the ambition to make a better America.
As an engineer, Joseph has always approached problems logically and with data. This endeavor is no different. He wishes to apply his background in statistical analysis and surveying to find the biggest challenges facing America today and commit to solutions that are shown to work.
